Canada Safety Council’s Professional Driver Improvement course is designed to help you become a better and safer driver. It focuses on a driver’s skill through a structured look at experiences and problem areas shared by all drivers such as bad weather, winter roads, pressures of time and distance, etc. This newly updated course includes topics on highway driving, and distracted driving legislation. This course focuses on drivers’ expectations and analysis of dangerous situations. It assumes that the drivers know how to drive before they take the course. PDIC is taught from a trucker driver’s perspective.
